As a member of the U.S. Trademark Department, Ms. Luppino is responsible for providing advice and assistance to clients in trademark prosecution and post-registration matters. She is devoted to helping clients navigate through the process of maintaining their trademark registrations and enjoys the advocacy aspect of prosecuting an application through the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Ms. Luppino obtained her undergraduate degree in Business Administration and Paralegal Science from Sacred Heart University and graduated from Quinnipiac University School of Law. During her college years, she counseled victims of domestic violence and represented many organizations that help protect women against violence and abuse. Prior to becoming an attorney, she worked as a paralegal in a criminal law firm.
Ms. Luppino transitioned into intellectual property operating a successful law practice in New Haven, Connecticut. Practicing the many facets of intellectual property law provided her with a strong foundation and appreciation of the challenges facing entrepreneurs and business entities.
Ms. Luppino has been a paralegal educator for over twenty years and is the co-author of two national legal textbooks. Her personal experience in writing and publishing has provided her with first-hand knowledge of the creative process and the wisdom in guiding her clients in intellectual property matters. She is often requested by clients who desire her professional, compensate style of forceful representation.
